Home to 282,477,584 people, Indonesia comes in fourth place on this list, contributing 3.5% to the global population. An archipelago of over 17,000 islands, the rich culture of the region undoubtedly works in its favour

Pakistan

A population of 241,499,431 makes Pakistan the fifth most populated country in the world, with 2.9% of the world’s population. The country is known for its growing urbanisation and its predominantly youthful population

Nigeria

With a population of 223,800,000, Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa, contributing to 2.7% of the global total. Its cultural richness and rapid development make it one of the most influential countries across the continent
