Tragedy at Thai-Cambodian Border: Mother and Child Killed in Rocket Attack
A heartbreaking scene unfolded in Sisaket Province, Thailand, as a mother and her young child were found dead, embracing each other inside a convenience store after a Cambodian artillery strike hit a nearby gas station. The attack, reportedly involving BM-21 rocket launchers fired from Cambodian territory, has claimed at least 8 lives so far.
The Thai government has not yet confirmed whether the strike was a deliberate act or a misfire amid rising tensions at the border. Witnesses described scenes of panic and devastation as rescue workers pulled bodies from the rubble.
