The Dubai Future Foundation has unveiled the world’s first classification system to clearly label the level of collaboration between humans and machines in content creation, research, and publishing.

Approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the system introduces five main icons and nine functional tags to highlight where and how AI tools were involved—such as ideation, design, or data analysis.

The initiative aims to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical AI use, especially as human-machine collaboration becomes increasingly common across sectors.
