Sharjah Police, in collaboration with the City Municipality and contractors, have introduced the ‘Security Monitoring’ initiative to improve safety at construction sites.
The project includes 24/7 security guards, surveillance cameras, and regular inspections. Since its launch in March in Al Shanouf, no incidents have been reported.
Plans are underway to expand it emirate-wide.
