At least 59 people were killed, including women, children, and humanitarian workers.
One of the deadliest strikes occurred near a Global Humanitarian Front (GHF) relief center in Rafah, where 31 civilians were reportedly killed, several of whom were aid workers and volunteers.
In Deir al‑Balah, 13 fatalities were reported, including women and children. Khan Yunis saw 15 deaths along with extensive infrastructure damage.
Human rights groups have called for an independent investigation into the strike on the GHF-associated zone, raising concerns about violations of international humanitarian law. The deaths of aid workers have also prompted several NGOs to reconsider their presence in the region.
