In a quick and heroic response, Dubai’s maritime rescue team successfully saved 14 people from a ship stranded near the breakwater amid dangerous sea conditions.

Despite strong winds and rough waves, the team acted swiftly, preventing a potential disaster.

Major Marwan Al Kaabi, Head of the Maritime Rescue Unit at Dubai Police, said the unit works 24/7 and regularly responds to emergencies like this. “This is just one of many incidents we’ve handled,” he told Gulf News.
