Eighteen-year-old Param Bhimani, a STEM student in Dubai, has built a fully functional solar-powered scooter to support outdoor workers exposed to extreme heat.

Inspired by daily scenes of laborers cycling under the blazing sun, Param created a sustainable solution that runs 20 km at 40 km/h on solar energy alone.

Built entirely from scratch using CAD tools, custom wiring, and a self-designed Battery Management System, his invention reflects youth-driven innovation aligned with UAE’s sustainability goals.

Param now seeks to refine the design and partner with organizations supporting underprivileged communities.
