Dubai Pol!ce has reached a historic milestone by promoting Colonel Samira Abdullah Al Ali to the rank of brigadier, making her the first woman in the for_ce’s 69-year history to achieve this rank.
The promotion was issued under the directive of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
With 31 years of service, Brigadier Al Ali built and leads the Insurance Department at Dubai Police and was also the first woman to head an all-male team in the General Department of Transport and Re_scue.
