Dubai authorities have firmly denied claims that investors in digital currencies qualify for the UAE’s Golden Visa.
In a joint statement, the ICP, SCA, and VARA clarified that the coveted long-term visa is granted only to specific eligible categories, including real estate investors, entrepreneurs, top students, humanitarian pioneers, and frontline workers.
The denial follows false online claims, including a misleading post by TON Foundation’s CEO. Authorities emphasized that virtual asset investments are regulated separately and do not influence visa eligibility.
The public is urged to rely on official sources to avoid misinformation.
