Abyson Jacob, a 46-year-old construction field surveyor from Kerala, finally won Dh150,000 in the Big Ticket weekly e-draw after two decades of trying. Based in Al Ain, Jacob has been consistently buying tickets since 2004, sharing this win with 11 colleagues.
Initially mistaking the prize call for a scam, Jacob was overwhelmed upon realizing the win was real. Though emotional, he now dreams of winning the Dh25 million grand prize in future draws and vows to continue participating.
