Over 1,600 Pakistani tro0ps were stationed in Saudi Arabia, serving in training and advisory roles. Some of the trained Saudi f0rces were deployed for internal secur!ty duties, including the protection of Makkah during Hajj and Umrah.

The cooperation also included Pakistan’s participation in the Saudi-led Islamic Milit@ry Counter Terror!sm Coalition (IMCTC), headed by former Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif.
