Dubai International Airport (,DXB) has once again claimed the title of the world’s busiest international airport for the second year running, handling 92.3 million passengers in 2024, according to ACI World’s 2025 report.
DXB also made significant gains in air cargo, rising from 17th to 11th globally. The report, covering data from 2,800+ airports in 185+ countries, highlights a record-breaking 9.4 billion global passengers in 2024—up 8.4% from 2023 and exceeding pre-pandemic levels.
