UAE authorities have denied claims that Toncoin or other cryptocurrency investors are eligible for the Golden Visa.
A joint statement from ICP, SCA, and VARA clarified that digital currency holders do not meet the official criteria, which apply only to real estate investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, and top talents.
VARA further confirmed that Ton is neither licensed nor regulated in the UAE. The clarification follows viral claims by Ton Foundation’s CEO that staking TON could secure a 10-year residency—now debunked as false.
