Emirates passengers indulged in an astonishing 60 million pieces of luxury chocolate over the past year, according to a new report shared ahead of World Chocolate Day (July 7). The figure marks a 2 million increase from the previous year, highlighting the airline’s continued commitment to providing sweet experiences at 30,000 feet.
Economy Class led the way, consuming 36.6 million chocolates, followed by Business Class with 9.1 million, Premium Economy with 1.06 million, and First Class, where 122,000 gourmet boxes accounted for roughly 13.4 million pieces.
Emirates partners with premium chocolatiers such as Coco Jalila (UAE), Valrhona (France), Canonica, and Neuhaus (Belgium)—rotating selections every six months based on taste, trends, and sustainable sourcing.
